Over It

Is there anything better than listening to the sound of your children playing together? I'm really lucky that for the most part, when my boys are playing, the sweet sound of laughter resonates through the house. It's actually when I hear Wood and T playing together that I am most grateful that we rolled the dice on a second adoption.

But Heaven forbid I ask the boys to work together. Then it's a whole different ball game. Take tonight, for example. The bathroom. Let's just say you can tell boys have been there. Since I have no idea which one of them can't aim (although I could guess) and really either could be the guilty party, both boys were sent to clean it. Together. Not 30 seconds into it and the fussing starts over who is not pulling their weight. And it's not just fussing. It's whiny fussing and it happens every time they have to work together.

I am so over it. If anybody has any suggestions on how to get their kids to work together, I'd love to hear them.

Happy Saturday!
